Mindfulness based CBT was originally developed to support and prevent depression and relapse. This therapy combines CBT with mindful meditation elements. The National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) has more recently published various evidence-based research statistics that suggest that people who suffer with recurrent depressive episodes find this therapy to be very beneficial regarding reducing and preventing their relapses. This model is also used with various other conditions such as stress, burnout, anxiety and sleep.
